• Managed WiCell’s overall operations, including personnel of the WiCell Research
Institute with a budget that increased from $1 - $5 million annually.

start up facility with 2 FTEs to a state of the art research institute with 13 FTEs (7
direct reports) and ~35 other participating researchers.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE


• Boosted the licensing revenues of a family of cell-based drug screening technologies
by 40 fold, generating $1+ million in revenue and becoming one of MIT’s most
successful unpatented biomaterials.
• Led the administration of all grant submissions and awards at WiCell, earning WiCell
the designation as a National Stem Cell Center, one of three Exploratory Centers for
Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research, by the NIH.
