Responsibilities/ Duties/ Job Description:


To keep the books of accounts up to date. Cash Management (including placement/movement of funds). To work as drawing and disbursing officer: Checking and signing the Utility bills, Contingent bills, T.A bills and Medical bills etc. Coordinates and supervises the processing of payments related to payroll, vendor claims and travel. To compile and analyze financial information to make entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts and keep tracking of transactions. Cheque book register maintenance and counting. To provide petty cash to finance assistant and take reports on daily basis. Distribution of budget grants of all circle office and watch the progress of expenditure. Maintaining organized set of detailed records & filing documents of financial transactions. Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of Posting. Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Making and implementing recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures. Confirming financial status by monitoring income and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports. Guiding other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy as well as United Nations Financial Regulations and Rules and Accounting Instructions. Correspondence with Federal Board of Revenue Islamabad, regarding W.H Tax and other Tax matters. To interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits & providing information needed to respond to audit findings. Any other related task assigned by MD or Finance Manager.
