Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea ch across. Fasten off. FinisHinG Use safety pin or split rings markers to mark center lower edge of Back piece. Place marked center of Back Piece over seam in center back of slipper sole. Fasten tog with safety pin or marker. Mark center of wide edge of Front piece and align with center front of sole over slipper sock sole. Fasten together with pin or marker. Approx 6 (7, 8) dc sts will overlap with back on ea side. Pin together at sides where pieces overlap. With MC and beg at overlapped pieces, work toward toe using Running Stitch to fasten pieces to sole. If desired, use CC and Back Stitch to create shoelace pattern on slipper front and to outline sole. Fold down 1" of upper back to form collar. Insert ends of tie into ea side just below collar.
