    National Insurance Company has entered into Agricultural Insurance

    National Insurance Company has entered into a co-insurance Agreement with Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd. (AIC) for marketing two products of AIC:

    Modified National Agricultural Insurance Scheme (MNAIS) Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (WBCIS)

    The Schemes has been initially launched in Rabi (Winter Season) 2012 13. Five States have been covered viz West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha & Assam. Interested persons (like Farmers, Agents, NGOs, MFIs etc.) may send their mail to suvradip.ghosh@nic.co.in.
