The Declaration of Independence stated that the colonist had the right to form a new government because if people have the desire to dissolve the political bands in order to form a new government, they will have to give the reasons by which they appeal for the separation. Every man is created equal and endowed by God with some rights such as life, liberty, safety and the possibility to search for the happiness deserved by all human beings. According to this belief men have the right to end with any government capable of being an obstacle to achieve those rights. Men are able to destroy and abolish it, and organize a new based on these principles. On the contrary, it says that men and governors will go on with the suffering because they have accustomed to suffer and to live that kind of slavery and sufferable way of life characterized by the tyranny in hands of the powerful ones. The offenses are the tyranny exercised by the authority, no respect for the rights of men, other people hadnt had the opportunity to be elected, the dissolution of the Representative Houses, punishment to those who had different ideas, the obstruction of the administration of justice establishing judiciary powers, armies were stand without the consent of the legislatures, merchant trades with all parts of the world were cut off, imposition of taxes without the consent of the population, charters were taken away, the most valuable laws were abolished, the alteration the forms of the Government. The offenses are enumerated because they have petitioned for redress and the only thing that they were given in return was repeated injury. There was no answer to the requests and no time for speaking. It is also used to show all the bad things that the British Crown had done to the American inhabitants. This shows the desire of the whole population to become an independent nation. They have a desire to be a country which can look for the good of its members.
