THEOLOGY According to the Bible, man was created with dust of the earth. The name Adam comes from the Hebrew word for the earth adamah. God blew his breath into the dust and created the first man. According to the Bible man was not created out of some lower form of life (ape, chimpanzee or hominid) as some theistic evolutionists claim. He was made or fashioned by the very hand of God out of aphar inanimate dust, dirt or clay. Mans body was originally lifeless. Life in mans body came directly from Gods spirit or breath. When God gave life to man he became a living soul. This living soul is the same kind of life animals have. That is, although man is infinitely above animals, his animal life came directly from God, not from some other animals. SCIENTIFIC VIEW OF THE ORIGIN OF MAN Theory of evolution comes in various forms. Various schools of thought have explained evolution which include; Natural Selection and Survival of the Fitters. It is the belief that nature selected the fitters of living things to survive and as these ones acquire new features that worked to their advantage, they slowly evolved or changed from one organism to the other. Starting from bacteria to fish to reptiles and amphibians to mammals to apes to man. Some scientists(Mutation) also belief that an accidental changes in chromosomes or genes of a cell which affects the structure and development of the resulting off-springs to transform from one form to another; from the simplest living to apes and completing the cycle. To other scientists, life originated from spontaneously in outer space and then floated down to the earth with microscopic organisms organisms transforming from one organism to another and finally and human arriving to end the process. Also other scientists speculate that a particularly remarkable molecule that had the ability to reproduce itself was formed by accident and transformed into living things with the final appearance of humans.
