Responsibilities: Operational Ensure the correct storage of goods according to hotel policy. Ensure goods which are issued to departments are supported by correct and appropriately signed and checked. Must demonstrate accuracy in the issuing of stock to departments. Ensuring documentation of numerically printed bin cards is recorded for both received and issued stock. To maintain stock according to par levels and provide purchasing request of stock required. To maintain stock according to quality control ensuring correct documentation of spoilage / breakages and old stock. To physically count goods in the store at the end of every month against the inventory balance report. Must understand hotel receiving procedures. To assist receiving clerk as required. Must maintain storerooms / Dock area in a clean and tidy condition ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained. Is aware of freezer / cool room operational and maintenance procedures. To maintain correct security procedures. To assist in stock takes as required. To attend training sessions are required. Other duties as assigned.
