CHINESE POEMS

BY: MELISSA BLOCK

Taoist Poem Gaze into my soul, They will show you the way of life,

Title: The Rustling Snakes My skin is like a leaf Flaky and rough My home is dry as a desert I I feel the sun pound on my back and the rocks crumble on my stomach My rattle sounds like a maraca I am the enemy I am calm to some I am within you.

Listen.
My mouth brings hope to all, I sing like bird chirping through the day, I am the mask of a fighter, I am strong, My ears hear cries,

My nose smells love,

My horns can help others, I am called the champion.

The Great Wall of China: The long pathway filled over mountains and mountains, You feel the cold stones placed one at a time, Looking over the magnificent cliff, Feeling ancient because of the time it was made, Pathway along pathway, Through and through the great wall.

Proverb: Dance to the beat of music, hear it pound in your soul, dont let it bounce away.
