POLICIES ON THE COMPUTATION OF GRADES AND RETENTION 1. The Base 50 equation shall be used in the computation of grades of BSA and BSBA students during the preliminary, midterm, pre-final, and final examinations, shown as follows: Grade = (Raw Score/ Total Number of Items) x 50 + 50, for example, (75/100) X 50 + 50 = 88%. 2. For the four (4) comprehensive examinations to be administered to BSA students, the Zero-Base model shall be used, as follows: Grade = Raw Score/ Total Number of Items, for example, 75/100= 75%. 3. A student shall be retained in the BSA program provided:

He/she meets the required average grade of 2.5 (81%-83%) in major courses taken in each semester. A BSA student obtains a passing grade of 3.0 in all four comprehensive examinations and in all subjects administered in all CEs. Three retakes are allowed in all comprehensive examinations. Those who do not pass the CELs for the third retake will be advised to shift to BSBA program. The student shall apply for the said examination and pay the required fees. BSBA students who have successfully passed ACCTG101 and ACCTG102 shall be allowed to take CEL 1 provided that they will pay the required fees. FACULTY

We have competent faculty members who are ready to assist our students. Accounting courses are handled by Certified Public Accountants. Law courses are taught by a lawyer. Professors who have masters degrees in business administration and public administration teach other professional courses. General education courses are handled by licensed teachers and teachers who have appropriate degrees. In addition, many of our faculty members have industry experience before joining the academe. There are three modes of payment: cash basis (10% discount), two-time payment, and monthly installment. SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE 1. SEEDS ScholarshipThis scholarship is offered to students who want to work at Jolibee while studying at The Fisher Valley College. Jolibee Foods Corporation will be paying the tuition and miscellaneous fees while students are working on fast food stores. Mayor Lani Cayetano ScholarshipThe City Government of Taguig, through the Office of the City Mayor Lani Cayetano, offers scholarships to college students who are residents of Taguig City.

Theory is blended with practicum activities to give the students a broad and enriched base for career in marketing. The objectives of the program are: 1. Help the students to seek employment and entry level jobs or positions of responsibility as marketing manager, marketing executive or marketing director. 2. Guide the students in organizing or managing entrepreneurial activities if they decide to be self-employed. 3. Equip students with knowledge of the principles and concepts of marketing. 4.
