Goal: You will create a script on an appropriate topic of your choice.

After you complete your script, you will create an animated video for your script using the online application, Xtranormal. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1: Brainstorm ideas for plot, characters, setting, etc. 2: Create a storyboard that identifies the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. You will need one scene for exposition, at least three for rising action, one for the climax, one for the falling action, and one for the resolution. For each scene, draw a picture of the action that is taking place as well as write a short description of it. 3: Create your script. In Xtranormal, you will be able to have characters act out scenes, so you will need to give them dialogue. Remember to show the action in the dialogue, not tell about it. 4: Using Xtranormal, select your background, characters, and sounds you would like to use for your video, then add the text to your script. The video screencast will help you get started with Xtranormal.

5: Present your video to the class. 6: You will be assessed on a rubric as well as a personal reflection about your writing and creating process after you present to your classmates.
