--- I --This zipfile should contain the following files: Lotrmap.exe : The executable. ME.map : The file that contains the map of Middle Earth. ME_Dutch.dat : Dutch. ME_Engli.dat : English. ME_Danis.dat : Danish (by Thomas Broch). ME_Swedi.dat : Swedish (by Anders Johansson). ME_Spani.dat : Spanish (by Santiago Oviedo). ME_Rus.dat : Russian (by Vladimir and Alexey Sviridov) ME_Rus.rus : Comments by the Russian translators - in Russian. ME_Rus.eng : Comments by the Russian translators - in English. file_id.diz : A short description of the program. readme.txt : This file. --- II --Installation of LOTR Map is easy. You only have to unzip all the files. Important: the .dat and .map files have to be in the same directory as the execu table, otherwise the program won't work. The program will create an .ini file ca lled lotrmap.ini in its own directory. To remove LOTR Map from your computer you only have to delete the files mentione d above and the .ini file. LOTR Map does not create registry keys, nor does it p lace files in your windows or windows\system directory. --- III --It's very likely that I'll make updates for this program. I will put those on my website and, as you already have the map you will only have to download the upd ate. --- IV --It's very easy to modify the .dat files. I encourage everyone to do so. The list s contain now about 145 places and that's not enough of course. I will put all . dat files that you send me on my website so that everyone can download them. --- V --The V4Software website: http://www.oli.tudelft.nl/vvier/v4software Email address : V4Software@vvier.tudelft.nl --- VI --LOTR Map is copyrighted 1998 V4Software.
