Unit: Creating Characters

Facebook project Create a fake Facebook profile page for the character from the monologue you have selected. The Facebook page can be hand-drawn or typed up (you are not creating a digital Facebook) The fake Facebook should include the following: o the name of your character o a picture (this can be a picture from the internet of a celebrity you think would play this character) o an About Me section should include information such as hometown and education and can include likes such as music, movies, TV, books, etc. o at least 2 fake status updates o 4 friends o 2 wall posts from their friends

Rubric for Character Facebook Page Total points possible = 10

Criteria for Evaluation (Total possible points= 10) Visual Presentation Excellent Poster is neatly handwritten or typed and resembles the layout of a Facebook page. 4-5 pts Includes all 5 of the required elements and includes other elements as well. 4-5 pts Good Poster is somewhat neat and organized, but it can be hard to read in places. 2-3 pts Includes most of the required elements. 2-3 pts Needs Work Poster is illegible or does not resemble the layout of Facebook. 0-1 pt Only includes a few or none of the required components. 0-1 pt
