1. The Bible and prayer go together. John 15:7 2. The Bible is powerful. Isa. 55:811; Jer. 23:29; Heb. 4:12 3. Jesus prayed the Bible while on the cross. He prayed the Bible when He suffered. Matt. 27:46; Ps. 22:1 He prayed the Bible when He surrendered. Luke 23:46; Ps. 31:5

4. The will of God is in the Word of God. Ps. 40:8, 119:105; Isa. 30:21; 1 Jn. 5:1415 5. Praying Gods Word is using the Spirits sword. Matt. 4:111; Eph. 6:1218; Heb. 4:12 6. Get a promise from the Biblepray and stand on it. Luke 24:32; Rom. 4:1821 How to pray the Word of God: Read the Bible systematically. Highlight special verses. Pray back to God the verses that you highlight. If the Lord impresses a special verse, start praying it. Avoid trying to manipulate God. Watch what God does through your prayers!

Examples of praying Scriptures: For a lost person. Rom. 10:1; John 16:8; Acts 3:19; Rom. 10:13 For a sick person. Jer. 17:14; John 11:4; 3 Jn. 1:2 For a church. Isa. 56:7; Acts 9:31 For a child. Isa. 54:13, 59:21; Luke 2:52; 2 Tim. 2:22
