Host a radio programme Subject: "Art"

Groups of 4 students (Terminale C)

Roles
1. The host: he presents the theme of the show, introduces the speakers, give them the floor (leur donne la parole), assess their arguments (fait le bilan) and conclude. 2. The literature lover: he reads a lot, literature is his favorite art form, and he explains why. 3. The music lover: he listens to a lot of music, music is his favorite art form, and he explains why. 4. The art critic: he bridges the gap between the two opinions

Progression of the programme

1. Introduction of the programme, presentation of the theme, of the speakers (name, age, function) The host 2. Intervention of the art critic: specificity of the two art forms (Literature: a solitary, cerebral activity that stimulates the mind and helps to think, allows to live vicariously the lives of fictive characters.../ Music: focus on the community, more active on a sensory level, it goes beyond words...) The art critic 3. Transition to the speakers' points of view The host 4. Debate between the speakers The literature lover, the music lover 5. Assessment (bilan) of the debate The host

The radio
- Find a name, a frequency and a jingle for your radio. You can legally download many jingles here for free and you can use them as you want. - Create an identity for each speaker: it will free your imagination and it will be easier to play a part. - The programme must last at least 4minutes.
