to create a dragon baby! You will determine the genetics of a pair of dragon parents, and then use that information to determine the traits of your dragon baby. You will make a sketch and then a model of the dragon baby together, and then individually submit a paper explaining how and why it looks the way it does. Have fun and be creative! Due Dates: The due dates are listed in the timeline below. If you are late for any of the assignments, you will lose 10% (a full letter grade) per day it is late. To avoid this, do your homework on time. If you are absent for any reason and cannot do a portion as homework because you need guidance, you are expected to stay in at recess or find a time I can meet with you. No extensions unless you discuss extended absences with me beforehand. Grading: You are doing this project in place of taking a big test. As such, it is going to count for a lot of points. The rubric is attached so you know exactly what the expectations are. Note that both you and your partner will have input in your grade.
