Apple Crumble Recipe Courtesy from a friend of mine Crumble 250g plain flour 190g soft brown sugar

r (150g is sufficient) 1 tsp cinnamon powder 200g butter Method: Flour (sift) + sugar + cinnamon powder Cut butter in with tip of fingers/ two knives till it looks like yummy breadcrumbs

Apple 2tbsp caster sugar 1tsp vanilla essence 8 apples 1 tbsp plain flour Method: Place apples + half a cinnamon stick (optional) in a sauce pan. Fill water till it covers half the apples. Cook till soft. Drain the water. Add sugar + vanilla + flour Try to use a casserole so you can see whats happening on the inside while it cooks (the round casserole that I have is the best size for this recipe; if you have a bigger one, double the recipe ) 15-20 mins. 190 degree Celsius Best rule of tumb: Once it is slightly brown on the outside, its good to go.
