Cape Wind granted first U.S. Commercial offshore wind lease, October 2010. Cape Wind long term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with National Grid approved, November 2010. Cape Wind Construction & Operations Plan approved, April 2011. Cape Wind/National Grid PPA approval Upheld by Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, December 2011. Cape Wind PPA with NSTAR approved, November 2012. Current Status Cape Wind in its project financing phase, Barclays is its financial advisor. Construction will begin by the end of the year. The project will be partially commissioned in 2015 and fully commissioned in 2016.
