Level: Year 3 (Rural Intermediate to Advance) Language Focus: Adjectives (big, small, good, bad) 1.

Pupils are divided into groups of 5 and they are given a character from the playscript. ( the lines will be highlighted in different colours to differentiate the characters) 2. Pupils read aloud their lines according to the characters given to them. 3. Whenever they encounter the 4 adjectives, the group that is reading the line will pause for a while after reading the lines. (adjective words are highlighted) 4. Teacher then says the word aloud and pupils mime out the word. 5. Then, teacher tells pupils that they are going to find a solution to help the main character, Gruno. 6. Teacher sets up hot seat in front of the class. 7. Teacher asks for volunteers to be on the hot seat. 8. Pupils are required to choose a character & wear the head band of the character to sit on the hot seat. 9. Teacher prompts the floor to ask questions to the character on the hot seat.
