Preliminary geological survey of Jalga Jundian road and tunnel:

Scope of the work: 1. General topographic analysis of the proposed road and proposed tunnel site, using topographic maps of scale: 1:100000 or 1:50000 as well as satellite image. 2. General geomorphological analysis including: - Main depositional features characters. - Main erosional geomorphic features. - Preperation of general geomorphological map 3. General geology of the area under consideration.

II.

Detail geological survey: This part will include the following items: 1. Detail geological map of the road cut site from Jalga to Jundian, including the geology of the proposed tunnel sites. 2. Detail structural geology (fold, fault, joint, ) for the road cut segment. 3. Detail structural analysis for the proposed tunnel sites. 4. Determination of the characters of the main geohazard features along the road cut segment as well as tunnel parts, including (mass-wasting, groundwater condition, seismological hazard).
