ESR METER and Electrolytic Capacitor Meter with blue backlight LCD display

USER MANUAL
Power switch Function switch (Calibration / Test) LCD display 1st line: value of capacitance 2nd line: value of ESR

Test leads sockets

DC input sockets: * one 2.1x5.5mm * one 2.5x5.5mm Is possible that your device does not include both!

Measuring signal:
* about 30mVpp * 500kHz frequency Range / Tolarence: C: 1uF - 0,1F / +-2,5% R (ESR): 0,1 mOhm - 20 Ohms / +-2,5%

Power Requirements:
+12V DC (center pole are positive) Max. current: 100mA

Measuring inputs (Cx):

Non polarized inputs.

Dimensions:
160 x 63 x 153 mm

Using:
1. Connect an power supply to the back panel, 2. Turn ON via power switch,

3. Wait while welcome message displayed ESR Meter v.7G (around 1-2 sec.),

4. Wait while runing self test. (It is around 1-2 sec.) Now displayed values of Freq1 & Freq2 frequenties.

5. This instrument redy to use, when see on LCD 0,0pF value.

Calibration: Important!
- Do not connect capacitor to the Cx sockets! - Connect test leads, if you use it for measure!
1.When the instrument ready to use,

switch the Cal./Test switch to the Cal. Position,

2.When the display show the Switch to Test message,

switch to the Test position, 3.When see on LCD 0,0pF value, make short on test leads (or Cx sockets, if you not using test leads),

4.When the measured value near 0,0mOhm switch the Cal./Test switch to the Cal. position, 5.When the display show the Switch to Test message, switch to the Test position, 6.Remove short from test leads after ready to use! Note: Do not connect any capacitors for test leads, when the unit turning on. Every time wait for self test ending and displayed 0,0pF on LCD. Otherwise the measured value inaccurate.
