Ash Wednesday Who: The people who were affected by this disaster.

What: On the 16th of February 1983, A bad fire happened which was later known as Ash Wednesday. When: Ash Wednesday was on the 16th of February 1983. Where: Ash Wednesday was in Victoria and South Australia. Why: Ash Wednesday was a result of the weather being extremely hot and of the towns not having a lot of water to supply the people who lived there.

Bushfire- Black Saturday

Who: the people who lived in the areas that were affected by the Black Saturday bushfires and the CFA. What: On Saturday the 7th of February 2009 a bushfire named Black Saturday occurred ruining a lot of homes, buildings and burnt out most of the land. However the bushfire was not man made. Where: Black Saturday affected Wandong, Wallan, Wallan East, Kilmore, Kilmore East, Kinglake, Kinglake West and Marybourgh. When: Black Saturday was on the 7th of February 2009 until Sunday the 8th of February 2009. Why: Black Saturday was a result of the weather being extremely hot and from a power pole/line falling down and causing sparks and

when the sparks and weather got together they created the fire to happen.
