Founded in 1965, CONAUT is leading the Brazilian market for instrumentation and industry automation, acting in all industrial elds, such as: oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, mining, food and beverages, alcohol, water treatment and pulp and paper. CONAUTs line of products include instruments for level and ow controls such as magnetic and ultrasonic ow meters; CONAUT also represents in Brazil: Krohne, a multinational company that manufactures magnetic, ultrasonic and mass ow meters, as well as a full line of level meters.

Established in 1996, KCI Krohne Conaut Instrumentao, is a joint venture between Krohne and Conaut in Brazil. It was initially created for the manufacturing of magnetic ow meters and nowadays also manufactures ultrasonic ow meters. Today, KCI exports to USA, Europe and South America approximately 60% of its production.

Established in 2002, Conaut Services is located in Maca Rio de Janeiro. Its activities are oriented mainly to oil and gas area, and it also cares others branches of the industry. This unit has the only two laboratories for oil and water ow certied by INMETRO, in the state of Rio de Janeiro

Detection system and re alarm It is a control unit for protecting a single area, low cost and versatile, who can oversee a system of re suppression. Can be connected up to 20 devices for each circuit (zone), panels are provided for 2 to 8 zones.

Flow Laboratory

CONAUT has an ow laboratory structure similar to the biggest around the world, CONAUT attends meters with diameters between 2,5mm to 3 000 mm. The Conauts calibration tower, in partnership with INMETRO, is the biggest one in the Americas. It makes possible the calibration process of meters until 3000mm and with maximum ow of 49.000 m3/h. The internal laboratory, located in Embu-SP, has 6 interchangeable lines, a 150 000 liters reservoir and a scale for 60 tons, what makes possible the calibration in meters from 2.5 to 1.500mm (60).
