JOB DESCRIPTION: FIELD APPLICATION ENGINEER NXP has started a recruiting process to hire an electronic engineer who will

be part of our Customer Application Support team Identification team in Sao Paulo. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop a close working relationship with the Field Sales Engineers, Sales Reps, Marketing, and business line colleagues Work with the customers design centers to get NXPs products designed in. Establish relationship with the customer's key architects, design engineers and other key decision makers. Document these design activities using internal Design Tracking applications/spreadsheets

Provide the customer with in-depth design assistance by using the Product Line Specialist (PLS), the Product Application Engineer, (PAE), and applications support from the Business Lines and the Systems Labs to help support specific product/system design efforts Provide the customer with general product information and design tools such as data sheets, samples, demo boards, application notes, and lead the product seminars. Assist the Business Development Managers in developing account profiles of the customer and Target Account Selling Sales Plans Be aware of the size and nature of the business at the assigned account and the account teams total account penetration strategy Understand the competitive landscape and continuously work on differentiating NXPs solutions Manage multiple projects and follow up on various tasks to ensure timely support and execution Support customer-targeted technology for IDE products & Applications Identify the needs and lead product showcase events and product training events Handle technical telephone, email and internet inquires for his or her key customers Ensure clear and regular internal reporting and communication

Desired: Mother language: Portuguese. Fluency in English and Spanish Good communication skill Knowledge on HW and SW. Development knowledge of JAVA and embedded MCU software written in ANSI-C, C, C++ language Knowledge of most used embedded platforms: LPCXpresso Free RTOS (by Code-red), KEIL, IAR, Eclipse Environment. Knowledge of Linux, Android for Smartphones
