Remote Steering Control System

The development and installation of remote-controlled, automatic-steering systems on loaders used in underground mines would eliminate the need for miners to work at certain high-risk sites. To achieve this, researchers reviewed current systems, analyzed working conditions, designed an experimental vehicle, and tested the vehicle in the laboratory and in an underground mine. Preliminary trials of the experimental vehicle established the feasibility of automating loaders used in underground mines. This vehicle can be loaded by remotecontrol and can automatically transport ore, using a computerized guidance system. Further development of the visualization, communication, and guidance systems is necessary. The Project is a prototype model for Automated Steering Control System designed using High Power Stepper Motor. The project involves a design of a Motorized Steering that can be rotated from a remote control system based on IR. The necessary electrical and electronic drive system is designed using Microcontroller.
