ENTRY ESSAY

As a prestigious part of our government, the Office of the Solicitor General has always been my dream workplace someday. When I applied here as a legal intern, it has never crossed my mind that I will stood a chance to be accepted, considering the number of very deserving applicants from all over the country. I was never satisfied with the knowledge I have especially in law. I feel like there are still many things that I need to learn before I can say that I deserve to be a legal intern in OSG. These were some of the reasons why I was very thankful when I received Atty. Tapaless text, stating that I was among the first batch to be accepted in the program. Actually, I dont know what to expect when I entered this program. All I have in mind was that I hope I could be be given the chance to improve my knowledge thru seminars, pleading drafting, case reviews and even to commingle with my fellow law students. After our orientation, I told myself that I would do my very best to be of help to whoever shall be my boss. I would help myself to get better by attentively observing the real legal work. I may not be very good at everything involving legal work, but I think if I will just be given the chance, I can be good at something thru hard work. Right now, I have been given the privilege to be of help to my division by drafting some pleadings. Despite the fact that I dont have any experience in doing such pleading, they still entrusted with these important legal works that is why I am really thankful to God for this opportunity and to Justice Carls division for taking the risk of accepting me. I am really looking forward to many more things that I could learn in this institution especially those that would help me in the study of law. I will surely make the most of my stay here in OSG.
