THE FLOW OF LIFE

Duration: 3.5 hours

Sound Art is today one of the most important fields of experimentation in contemporary art. This workshop will sensibilize the teenagers perception to sound. Kids will be introduced in an entertaining and easy way to Sound Art, its history, main concepts, forms and varied possibilities. During the workshop the group will take a tour around Old Rauma to experience the urban space thourgh sound with audio equipment doing field recording. With this material the group will digitally edit the audio that will result in a collective soundscape piece. Gerardo Montes de Oca Mexico, 1978 Psychologist, musician and cross-media artist.
