Our Solar System - Whats in it??

The solar system also includes the satellites of these planets, numerous stars, numerous comets, asteroids, and meteoroids.

Comets
is an icy small Solar System body(SSSB) sometimes it has a tail. Comet nuclei range from a few hundred meters to tens of kilometers across and are composed of loose collections of ice, dust, and small rocky particles. Comets have been observed since ancient times.

Asteroids
Asteroids are small, airless rocky worlds revolving around the sun that are too small to be called planets. They are also known as planetoids or minor planets.

Meteorites
are chunks of rocks or metal that fall from space. They are named after the place they are found. Most meteorites are very small but they can be huge and weigh more than a car, like the one on the right.
