Never-fail Damper (my recipe) Ingredients 3 Cups Self-Raising Flour 1 cup powdered milk cup of cooking oil Good

d pinch salt 2 cups water + 1 extra if mixture too dry

Method Mix all dry ingredients together Add cooking oil (I use peanut oil) and mix through Make a well in the mix and add 2 cups of water & mix for 30 seconds Mix will be sticky. Turn the dough onto a well-floured surface and dust with more flour. Knead lightly & form into a round and place in camp oven for baking Bake (in a Bedourie) for 30 minutes or until you get a hollow sound when knocked with your knuckle.

Beautiful and light. Delicious with butter and Golden syrup.
