Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to apologise for Tuesday, when I did not attend the English class. I am truly sorry for my mistake and hope you understand that I will make sure it will never happen again.

To begin, I realise it was an extremely immature, childish thing for me to attempt and that it could have seriously affected my college life and education if I had made a regular habit of it. I was irresponsible, reckless and it was an incredibly thoughtless act. I feel guilty and shameful of my actions as I knew they were wrong, yet I followed through with them anyway.

I take complete responsibility for my behaviour and realise that this is serious and unacceptable for any student, especially me. I have learned from my mistake and cannot stress how sorry I am for what I have done.
