In teaching and learning process, teacher should use various ways to maintain students interest It can be done by changing the focus of the sense; otherwise the students will be bored. Variation of stimulus means teacher uses various activities to maintain student attention. There are 5 elements of variation skills: Change of teachers gesture, change of teachers movement, change of verbal pattern, change of sense focus and change of the students interaction. Change of teachers gesture Gesture is the movement of body, hand or head that can give meaning to what has been mentioned or emphasized. Example: to nod or shake the head.
