Intervention Implementation duration of 6-8 weeks Implemented by general education teacher and/or other professional or support personnel Intervention is provided in addition to core instruction

Student meets grade level/benchmark standards Collaborate PLT analyze student data Determine if student continues to need Tier II intervention or if no intervention is needed

Plan for gradual release of intervention Continue to Progress Monitor

Decision Point

Student not meeting grade level/benchmark standards but making sufficient progress

Continue Tier II Intervention and progress monitor Document on report card

Monitor students responsiveness Capture data at minimum of every 2 weeks to monitor effectiveness of intervention Parents are informed of students progress and changes

Student not meeting grade level/benchmark standards and NOT making sufficient progress towards promotion: Level 1 or 2 in ELA or Mathematics and NOT making progress All Level 1 student in both ELA or Math even if making progress

Create PEP using EASi Tier II Planning Modify current intervention(s) by increasing frequency and duration. Implement new Tier II interventions if needed and document on Tier II Plan Progress monitor to determine student response to intervention Determine if more intensive interventions may be needed If so, create Tier III request as you continue intervention
