1954 - Anish is Born in Mumbai, India 1973 - Moved to London to study art 1991 - Anish wins a turner award in London 2006 - Built his famous sculpture Cloud Gate 2008 - Launches the worlds largest public art project Tees Valley Giants 2012 - Commissioned to build Orbit for the 2012 London Olympic Games 2013 - Knighted in the British Honors for services in Visual Arts
