PITTSFIELD SOCCER TRY-OUT EVALUATION FORM

TRYOUT CRITERIA:
I. Overall Technical Ability – passing and receiving, dribbling, shooting, tackling, and heading: primary foot skills. Most
important the ability and foundation for others.
II. Overall Physical Fitness – Speed, endurance, strength, agility, flexibility, and work rate.
III. Overall Defending Skills – Tackling ability, ball winning, aggressiveness, and commitment.
IV. Overall Tactical Ability – Decisions, communication, use of space, support, awareness, transition, and positioning
V. Overall Behavior – Attitude, confidence, concentration, motivation, courage, commitment, and hardiness.

5 – Excellent: 4 – Good: 3 – Average: 2 – Needs Improvement/Potential to Learn: 1 – Beginner Skills
