On August 26, 2013 Democratic Party Myanmar [DPM], Mandalay Division, Amarapura Township DPM Branch Office opening ceremony was held at 09:00 hr at he resident of U Kyaw Thu Ra, House No. Nga Ta/ 233, Yadanah Ghu Phayarr Road, Nge Toe Administrative Unit. The ceremony was attended by DPM Headquarters Leaders Chairman U Thu Wai, Deputy Leader and Secretary General Daw Than Than Nu, Treasurer U Aung Nyein and Info Bureau Chief U Hla Myint, Mandalay Division DPM Patron U Chit Swe, President U Aung Thein Oo, VP U Khin Maung Win, DPM Div Secretary U Minn Aung and DPM Div Leaders, Amarapura DPM President U Kyaw Thu Ra and EC Members, Amarapura Township DPM Members, representatives from USDP, NUP, NLD, Township Commission Branch Office, Township General Administrative Office, Township Judiciary Office, Immigration, Police, and three members of Mandalay Division Parliament were in attendance.

DPM Chairman U Thu Wai, Secretary General Daw Than Than Nu, Chan Aye Thar San Township MP Daw Tin Tin Mar [DPM], representatives from Township Commission, and Township Judiciary gave speeches.
