The EASy lesson helped me to break things down in a more succinct manner.

I can see cleary, (for me) how the online course is much better than the f2f course. Posted here are the instructions for the course:

indicate where the evaluation, analysis, and synthesis sections of the lesson occur - demonstrating to us your clear understanding of these concepts as outlined in the reading. (Be sure to understand the difference between EASy's use of these concepts and Bloom's - they are not synonymous, especially with evaluation and analysis). Provide a brief explanation of the changes you made between the old and the new lesson.

Noted below are the differences between the f2f and online course. Face to Face course The face to face anger management course was: (1) for mandated clients, that is the court system made them attend. Once in a while I would get someone who was not mandated, but they would never stay for the whole 12 weeks. (2) Had no specific manual or guidelines for what was to be included in the course, so the therapist running the group could have free rein over what was taught and how it was taught. I used a manual for the course as well as a few ideas that I had acquired from other material, as the manual was good, and free, but there were some things that I felt were missing from the manual. I had to provide all the materials as well as create the curriculum. I didnt mind too much, but I felt that a specific curriculum would be much more helpful in guiding the clients towards making positive changes in their lives. Online Course This section is from the Cognitive Distortions section. The whole course is 8 weeks and each week the participants are required to complete reading and written assignments, answer synthesis type questions in a journal and submit to instructor, as well as report their level of anger for the week. Every other week the participants attend an asynchronous group and discuss coping strategies, anger triggers, and participate in role play situations. There are no grades for this course, but each week the participants are provided with feedback from the instructor. The last section of the course requires the participants to complete a post- test as well as to report positive changes they have made throughout the weeks and coping skills and other methods that they will use in the future to reduce conflicts, control angry outbursts,

demonstrate proactive behavior, and reduce stress in their lives.

Objective: Students will complete online lessons each week in order for them to participate in the asynchronous groups and complete journal assignments that will require 100% participation in order for them to gain insight and make changes to their angry habits. Lesson Plan: 1. 2. 3. 4. Download book Complete online lesson Complete journal assignments and report level of anger for the week. Participate in Asynchronous forum and report success in making changes using the cognitive distortion sheet. 5. Complete online assessment for lesson
