All vampires see auras. Auras are electromagnetic energy fields encompassing matter from the smallest atom to the tallest mountain and everything in between. Pale yellow auras surround inanimate objects. Tawny brown auras surround animals. In humans, this energy field called the eternal soul manifests at conception as an inert spark within the embryo, but does not flame until the first breath of life. Surrounding the embryo is the fetal stratum or first aura and consists of the parents personality traits, attitudes, and emotions. If the mothers fetal stratum is yellow and the fathers fetal stratum is blue, the combination of these two colors will make their childs fetal stratum green. However, if the fathers fetal stratum is goldenrod yellow and the mothers fetal stratum is baby blue, the fathers fetal stratum color will eclipse the mothers and produce a child with a goldenrod yellow aura often prompting the quote, Youre just like your father or vice versa if the mothers aura color predominates. By age two, often called The Terrible Twos, a child attains its infantile personality of thoughts, attitudes, and emotions and acquires the secundus stratum or second aura. By age seven, a child has matured enough to form the trinumbra stratum or the surface aura. The more intense the colors, the more intense the thoughts, beliefs and emotions. Consequently, the less intense the colors, the less intense the thoughts, beliefs and emotions. Some aura colors may look identical, but minute color variables represent different traits, attitudes and emotions. Color combinations account for unexpected differences. A pink color personality with violent rages occurs because pink is a derivative of red. Aura blends are infinite. These examples are only a few. Yellow and red makes orange. Red and blue makes purple. Blue and yellow makes green. Red and white makes pink. Black and white makes gray. Green and red makes brown.

Humans with more than three aura colors are most often geniuses or psychics. Those with less than three aura colors may be mentally or emotionally challenged. Emotions can change surface auras instantly. Happiness blankets auras in pastels. Fear shrouds them in vibrant hues. As delicate as smoke, auras have no defenses against the elements. Cold freezes them into fragile, unrecognizable strips. Wind twists them into giant balls. Light rain slices through them. A downpour obliterates them totally as does high humidity, atmospheric pressure, smog and fog. Wrongdoing in humans manifests on surface auras as minute, small, medium or large corroded specks. The more serious the offense, the larger the specks until they develop into the aura rot of moral decay. Only infants and the severely mentally impaired possess pure auras. The eternal soul and all stratums leave the body upon the last breath of life. Left behind are the deceaseds hazy outlines with living auras clinging until they disintegrate and return to the electromagnetic fields of Earth and Space.
