2/3 cups (100gm) plain (all-purpose) flour, sifted 1/4 cup (3 gm) !uc"#heat flour, sifted (plain flour) 1/2 teaspoon ta!le salt 1 teaspoon acti$e dry yeast 1/2 cup (12 ml) mil" 1/3 cup (%0gm) sour cream (homemade yoghurt) 1 egg, separated &lace the plain and !uc"#heat flours, salt and yeast in a !o#l and stir to com!ine. &lace the mil" and sour cream in a saucepan o$er lo# heat and coo", stirring, for 2 minutes or until lu"e#arm. 'dd the egg yol" and #his" to com!ine. (radually add the mil" mi)ture to the flour mi)ture, stirring until smooth. *o$er #ith a clean, damp cloth and set aside in a #arm place for 30 minutes or until !u!!les appear on the surface. +his" the egg #hite until soft pea"s form, add to the mi)ture and stir #ell to com!ine. ,eat a lightly greased, large nonstic" frying pan o$er medium heat. *oo" teaspoonfuls of the mi)ture for 1-2 minutes or until !u!!les appear on the surface. -lip and coo" for 1-2 minutes or until golden.
