It is a picture in the Rule of Thirds of landscape and sky. There is a full moon in the sky with a few clouds below it. There is a small town on the landscape with lights glowing. In the far off distance you can see a mountain range. Genre: Is it a still life (group of things), a portrait (of a person) or a landscape, seascape or a cityscape or other (explain)? A landscape because it shows a small town with mountains in the distance and the sky is 2/3 horizontal. The picture is mostly sky and the rest is a landscape of a town and mountains. Style/form: Is this artwork realistic (as real as possible) or abstract (distorted reality)? The artwork is realistic because it is an actual photograph of a landscape. How was the photo taken?: He set up a tripod then took the picture with a view camera.

Interpretation:
What do you think the artist was trying to say in the artwork? I think the artist was trying to say how peaceful it is living out of the city. The photograph shows s small town that appears to be peaceful in the valley of the mountain range. Why do you think he or she chose this subject? I think he choose this subject because he found it interesting. He saw how beautiful the landscape was so he wanted to take a photograph of it. What feeling does this artwork give you and why? The feeling this artwork gives me is calming. This artwork reminds me of my grandmas house up north. I would want to lay there and watch the sky for hours. What part of the artwork is your favorite and why? My favorite part of the artwork is the sky. My favorite part of the artwork is they sky because of how beautiful it is. The moon is in perfect correlation with the clouds. The sky is the main accent or focal point of this photograph.
