In order to create a cohesive brand around the world we aligned the way the visual image of the brand is going to be developed by each country, for that we have some bases: You can only use b&w photos in the promotional material (flyers, social media designs, adds, banners and any other materials) Some examples: https://www.facebook.com/GlobalY2B https://www.facebook.com/VenezuelaY2B https://www.facebook.com/chileY2BForum https://www.facebook.com/ElSalvadorY2B -
When we create our facebook Pages and Events we should put Country (or territorry/region/city) Youth to Business Forum. And the URL should be created this way: https://www.facebook.com/GlobalY2B For your country: https://www.facebook.com/CountryY2B To have in mind:
- The content of the page can be in your own langage (not the name of the forum). - Feel free to promote your partners and engagement activities. - Feel free to create campaigns, promotion materials and others (If are aligned with the brand and connected with the content) - You can share info from the Global Y2B fan page and AIESEC Global fan page.

2012:
Different things can be included, removed or adjusted. For example: Replace Open Space with case study or focus groups - because Open Space can be difficult to facilitate if you haven't trained in this before. Have less speakers for longer Use topics that are relevant in your region/country/city If you have a lot of partners and workshops, make 2 rounds of workshops to give delegates more opportunity to interact with companies or repeat some workshops Have some topic speakers to open the "Topic tracks" session Don't forget to include time for questions in each session, people always want to ask! Use the coffee break spaces to move people to breakup rooms. Use the lunch time for networking and give partners the space and chance to have more conversations with people Use live streaming and engage virtual delegates Always include space for people to share ideas, thougths, projects, Y2B it's the space to connect Run surveys before the Y2B to sense delegates and check what they want to talk about and their expectations with the forum Connect the forum with the other ones that are happening in the network, include quotes from other forums, pictures, include data and information in opening speech.
Topics
Choosing the right topics can also be difficult, but its even more important for these to be relevant to the Question, and also relevant to your stakeholders (members and partners). You want to create topics that are interesting to the society and community you are in. You also want companies to be interested so they will want to take part in the day. Examples of Global Y2B Topics in the past: 2011:
2012:
Ideas for topics: Start with a question that you want to answer during your Y2B, from there you can define the topics that will help you to answer that question. If you're selling Y2B, ask companies the topics that they would like to approach Run a small and fast survey in the Facebook page asking from a list of topics which ones the delegates like the most Check in your government pages which topics are priority for your city/country and align Y2B to those ones. Invite organizations expert in trends to be supporters and help you to define the agenda and topics.
Publication?
Would be cool if you can have a publication that you can launch after the conferences with some of the outputs of the forum, but a publication requires effort, needs to be professional and put together all the points of view! we want
to be the Youth Voice as AIESEC so we need to be careful with the messages that we create under the brand. Publication 2011 Kenya: http://issuu.com/aiesecinternational/docs/y2b2011 Publication 2010 India: http://www.aiesec.org/cms/aiesec/AI/press.html#pr6
Partners
Now that you've done all this preparation and work, you must be excited to begin raising partnerships for the Y2B. If explained properly this is a great product which companies would want to get on board. However, it can be tricky for companies to understand, so its important that you and anyone else who is selling to companies clearly understands and appreciates all elements of the day and why they are there. FAQ
By Andrea Giraldo Tabares June 20, 2012
Can I host Local Y2B in my local committee or city? Yes you can, we recommend you first to contact your MC and ask for approval (To align the local Y2B to the national edition). Your MC should be the one contacting AIESEC International (youthtobusiness@ai.aiesec.org) to confirm that you're having local Y2B. Can I host regional Y2B? If you want to host Regional/Subregional Y2B during a global official conference (Expros - ILC) please contact AIESEC International first to define if this one can be included in the agenda and the details for selling it. This is totally required! If you are putting together some countries/territories to run a Y2B you can do it, always informing AI first. Can I change the logos?
No you can't! The logos are connected with the brand strategy and the positioning strategy of Y2B globally, many entities are using the same brand to contribute to the global positioning of the forum. If you feel that is totally needed to change the logo of some elements of the brand please contact AIESEC International (youthtobusiness@ai.aiesec.org) before taking any decision or starting promotion Can I create Youth to "other things" forums? The entities are free to create versions of Youth to "other things" but not under the Y2B brand or using the same logo. We know that many activities around youth can be aligned with engagement with AIESEC. The Youth to Business is just one of the global brands powered by AIESEC that entities can use. If you have questions or us (youthtobusiness@ai.aiesec.org). require support feel free to contact
Can I create other activites besides the forum under the Youth to Business brand? You can create other activities around Youth to Business but without changing the logo or using the brand in a different way. We recommend to connect other activities with the forum itself like having a "Youth to Business challenge" that can happen during the event. Can I use the picturess of Global Y2B? Yes you can! The AIESEC International images in Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/34836988@N07/collections/ are open for AIESEC purposes. You can use them for promotion materials and others. Can I use Y2B in my own language? You can create promotion materials in your own language and deliver Y2B forum in local languages. But, please don't change the logo or put it on your local language (Example: Colombia Juventud a los Negocios)
Can other organisation powered the event with AIESEC? You can sell participation in Y2B and different products to organisation, as well manage different kind of partnerships (Example: http://youthtobusiness.org/partners.html) but Youth to Business is a brand powered by AIESEC, other organisations can't powered the event or own the brand.
