 R230 Instrument Cluster Removal
Step1:
• Extend steering column completely
• Lower steering column completely
Step 3:
• Remove two torx fasteners from top of
cluster, location shown in illustration
• Remove the one torx fastener from bottom
of cluster, location shown in illustration
Step 2:
• Grasp IC trim bezel using both hands as
shown
• Carefully pull trim away from dash pad and
IC with a rearward motion
• Remove trim and place in a safe location
Step 4:
• Pull cluster away from dash pad and
remove electrical connector from rear
• Remove cluster
