Children start formal schooling at different ages in different countries.

In som e European countries, for example, children don't start school until they are seven years old. However, in New Zeala nd they start their primary education at the age of five. In my opinion it is important that children start school at an early age because they need structure, routine and a rich learning environment.

Firstly, structure and routine are very important for young children. The struct ure of the school where the children are secure and safe to study they will to learn more easily. There the timetable and teacher are same every d ay, and these know what activity to do children to they feel useful and busy. If the children only playing no exist chance to learn skills adequately.

Secondly, the first six years of childrens lives are very important for their a cademic development. A good option is send the children for school because they will to have opportun ity to learn while young. In many cases, both parents working the full time and have little time for to education their youngs. The school helps c hildren to discover and learn. Some children at home have poor enviroments, not enough books, toys to disrupt and lack technology to help. Some families cannot afford home co mputer at home and, and nowadays this equipment is very important.

In summary, it is better for children to start formal schooling at the age of fi ve because this will give them the opportunity to learn while they are still you ng. They need the structured, stimulating environment of a formal classroom to help them to develop their academic ability.
