Lack of Methodology in process of Project Management

Introduction Managing a project is not easy. A team will encounter problems that may lead to project failure such as poor communication, lack of resources that includes right persons skills in a project as well as insufficient manager himself. But what the researcher is trying to see is in planning there is lack of methodology in managing project. As we know that a project is only temporary that it has its beginning and ending. A manager must have proper skills to sustain the project, must involve himself wholeheartedly and create a well-defined schedules and back-up plans. There are times that manager doesnt look much about the methodology they have to use. They dont know that there is a high risk of re-doing the work and not meeting deadlines. What methodology does in a project is that it helps the manager to set the framework that will suit to their work, helps in planning and scheduling, job distribution and helps to create back-up plans in a more strategic and systematic way.
Objectives: The researcher believes that in managing project it is important to set the proper

methodology to support a whole project. Methodology will help team leader or the whole team to put what standards to be followed. The proponent believed that identifying the importance of methodology will be an advantage and gives the following benefits to a team: Realization Identify back up plan(s) Better management framework

This research aims the following objectives: It aims to help the managers/team to identify the importance of methodology in project management. It aims to create a research that will give the glimpse of different methodologies to help them choose what will suit for them. To create a research that will identify the risks involved as well as recommendations.

The research involves defining what methodology is as well as its benefits. It will include preview of different methodology. It will only include methodology; any unrelated information will not be discussed in the research.
