Literature Review 1. Several modeling studies addressing individual unit processes for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Management have been reported. These include modeling studies for collection processes (Lieb man et. al, 1975). 2. The society of environmental toxicology and chemistry (SETAC) defined the concept of LCA and developed a general methodolgy for carrying out LCA studies (Azapagic, 1999). 3. The term LCA is used more frequently to discribe all the eradle to grave approaches (Curran, 1996) 4. The most important side of waste management plan is to understand the areas in which strong decision are to taken to reduce the environmental aspects of waste management (Bamar, et. al, 2009). 5. Appropriate waste management strategies can substantially reduce the burden placed on environment.if the waste management system is based on strong and authentic data and is well executed with public awareness. It can reduce emission and reasource depletion (Grodzinska-Jurezak, 2010).
