    SETTING ABS HOME POSITION


    Z70 ABS alarm will occur if ABS position is lost.
    1. Select the [DIAGN IN/OUT] screen, press [MENU], go to the [ABS-SRV] screen and page down one time. 2. Move the axis in handle mode to the home position (hopefully the machine builder has put markers in the machine to let you know where the home position is). You must move the axis at least one revolution of the motor before going to the next step. 3. Set 1 in parameter #0 INIT SET for the axis which has lost ABS. 4. Set 1 in parameter #1 ORIGIN. 5. Move axis in handle mode to the negative direction. 6. After the encoder passes the first grid, either OK or * is displayed to confirm ABS complete. 7. Power off/ on.
