This was a project providing environmental opportunities to young people aged 16-25, focusing on practical conservation, bushcraft skills, and media tasks (in particular a weekly radio show on Preston FM and environmental film making). The aim was to influence and inspire the next generation to become the environmental pioneers of the future. This project was run in conjunction with other local projects such as B.E.A.T (Bolton environmental Action Team), The Hive (a local grow your own food scheme) and IMPACT (which focused on providing experience to NEET individuals). This placement led on to a full-time, salaried position at the same project for a further six months.
