One year provincial contract position renewed for a second year teaching full time (15-20 hours teaching, up to 20 hours of prep) at a co-educational public high-school for South Korean students Included: * Designed and orchestrated themed units to utilize and reinforce students textbook learning, developing original lesson plans and supplementary resources as well as modifing existing plans and resources to suits the needs of varying individuals and classes * Developed and implemented a marking scheme for student evaluation with the express aim of motivating students toward greater participation: regular homework assignments and checks, clear and specific criteria for the evaluation of classroom involvement, group presentations as well as oral and written testing * Planned and led peer-teacher English conversational workshops on a weekly basis * Organised and led an English Drama Club which met biweekly for 2-hour periods and culminated in the presentation of student written and produced English commercials at the annual student-led school festival. * Partnered with between 2-5 foreign and Korean English teachers to create, organise, write, schedule and run three different middle school and primary school summer camps of up to 50 students per camp over the space of two summers as a part of a municipal pilot project.
