Difference between accuracy and reliability

"In the fields of science, engineering, industry and statistics, accuracy is the degree of closeness of a measured or calculated quantity to its actual (true) value." "In experimental sciences, reliability is the extent to which the measurements of a test remain consistent over repeated tests of the same subject under identical conditions." To improve reliability, be as specific as possible about conditions and experimental variables so the conditions of multiple tests are exactly the same (if they are not, the test is not valid, and one of the other things that is different may be the cause of the difference in the result, rather than just the experimental variable).
