Citizens Rights Lobbyist (Public Affairs Consultant) Job Description The successful Citizens Rights Lobbyist candidate should

have prior experience in public relations, as well as an established network of contacts consisting of members of public office ranging from town councilmen up to federal congressmen, as well as other policymakers. The candidate will have many responsibilities for the job such as the ability to develop firm understandings of clients interests as they pertain to legislation. They will also require strong, effective communication skills in order to strengthen clients position on issues at hand, as well as a constantly updated knowledge about other groups of interest who hold a similar position. Typical responsibilities include organizing meetings, producing and preparing press releases, analyzing sources of information for credibility, and occasionally attending party conferences and committee hearings on the clients behalf. Other responsibilities require the candidate to keep clients up to date on developments in their field, respond to requests for specific information, and offer strategic advice to clients. Requirements 3-5 years of experience Bachelors Degree Outgoing personality Excellent communication skills Superior organization skills Effective time management skills Bi-Lingual Self-motivated Hours Full time: 40+ hours per week Salary Ranges from $80,000 to $140,000 Location Speaking4U Inc.
