Aagman 2013 celebrated at Continental College for Higher Studies, Jalvehra

A freshers party, Aagman 2013 - Welcoming new colors of life was organized at the Continental College for Higher Studies, Jalvehra, Fatehgarh sahib with great enthusiasm and fervor. Er. Amandeep Singh Gill, XEN- Punjab State Power Corporation Pvt. Ltd was the chief guest of the event. The honourable chief guest gave his best wishes to the students and stressed that they must believe in the motto work is worship and should do their best to achieve their desired aim in life. He wished that the students would come out with flying colours in their future life. Guest of Honor Mr. Sumel Singh (SDO, PSPCL) in his address appreciated the need of such activities in colleges to make the college life a memorable experience. The Executive Director of the Continental Group Major General BPS Grewal welcomed the guests and thanked the media persons for their support. He also welcomed the newcomers to the college. He appreciated the students for their efforts and motivated them to perform well in studies despite working on their all-round development. The students of Continental College enthralled the audiences with their excellent performances. Solo songs, western dances, Bhangra, Giddha and modeling were the key attractions of the day. Modeling on the ramp by the newcomers was praised by all and kept everyone present spill bound. Ms. Simranjeet Kaur of B.Sc. (Fashion Technology) was crowned Ms. Fresher and Mr. Jatinderveer Singh of MBA was crowned Mr. Fresher. At this occasion Associate Director Brig. J K Jha, Principal S. Tanvir Singh Gill, Continental School Principal Mrs. Amandeep Shergill, HOD Computer Science S. Gurdeep Singh Gill, Media coordinator Pardeep Kumar, distinguished media members, HoDs, faculty & staff members were also present.
