Nielsen Aptitude Test Questions

Hi , I would like to upadate you on the Nielsen Aptitude test .The Nielsen Aptitude test is the common test which is served as the first round for the vacancies in Nielsen.The time limit is one hour.The Aptitude test is as under :1) 10 Maths questions with no options.(You have to solve them and write your own answer).The break up is as under:a) Profit Loss-3 b) Venn diagram-1(with 3 sub parts) c) Probability-1 (with 3 sub parts) d) Sampling -1 e) Averages-1 f)Percentage-1 g)Equations-2 The 2 sample questions are :1)You take a test, and 60% pass the first time and 40% fail. The second time around,80% pass the test and 20% fail. The third time, 90% pass and 10% fail. a. What is the probability that you pass on the 2nd time? b. What is the probability that you pass on the 3rd time? c. What is the probability you fail? 2)The results of surveying 100 residents of a city reported that 40 read the daily morning paper, 70 read the daily evening paper & 20 read neither. How many: 1. Read at least 1 paper? 2. Read both? 3. Read exactly one daily paper? answer of question 2 is 80, 30 & 50. All the questions varies from 7-9 lines and are tricky and take on an average of 3 minutes to solve .In case you like the post , i can send you the remaining 8 questions also. The Next Section is Case study with 3 questions:- 1)Was the advertisement effective? 2) Recommendation to client 3)What more questions could have asked to respondents Case study:- A survey of 300 magazine readers was taken because a client has given its advertisement on that magazine.The a table has been given with numbers like people . who read the magazine, people who buy the soap after reading the magazine and all....so its a simple case ..just you need to focus on numbers and basics.

Hypothesis Report:-

A report has to been to president as you would like to convince him to launch a

new product UNISOAP , the features will be given and you have to show strengths and weakness of the product.

Sentence Correction:- 18 sentence will be given and you have to find our the grammatical error in the
four parts underlined similar to problems we see in CAT and other MBA tests.Difficulty level was medium.
